 | This are the ugliest shoes I have seen for a while. Usually when a designer collaborates with another designer or brand great things are made. But not on this one! It is quite obvious that cut-out details are not meant to use in all styles of footwear specially on men's shoes. I mean, what were they smoking when the 'powers-at-be' at Dr. Martens O.k.'d this design by Raf Simons? With all due respect to Raf Simons, we are not that desperate for a hot trend. We are quite happy with classic Dr. Martens shoes. This are more like a Dr. Frankenstein creation. Goes to show and I have said this before, some trends for women are best left for women. |

Everything just went wrong with this Salvor Project Printed Dress. The silhouette is unflattering, it looks like you're wearing a man's shirts, if you decide to burn $500 that is. I tried really hard to find anything good about this dress. I mean, gray is one of my favorite colors and that didn't even factor in my decision of charging this dress with fashion negligence. I was actually a tad annoyed when I saw this dress. And even if you're uber wealthy, I know you know you don't have to splurge on ugly.

As I always say moderation is key. Add a dash of tasteful, chic and fashionable feather pieces to your look. Don't over do it. Think accessories like shoes, handbags and hats. Pedro Garcia has a pair of feather peep-toe pumps that I just love (shown above). When it comes to apparel, feather skirts and jackets with feather details are hot! On this note, sorry feather boas are not the way to go if you want to make a fashion statement. Unless, its Halloween.

Boot season is almost here. This fall, tall boots and knee high boots are right up there on the season's fashion trends. Of all the different styles of tall boots, a few made my must-have list: wedge, slouchy and riding inspired boots. Details like ruffles, harnesses, buttons and buckles are something you can look for when shopping for a pair. Of course you can't go wrong with sleek, plain boots if worn right that is.
As far as how much you should spend on a pair of boots... well, think of them as smart investments. Keep in mind you will be wearing them during cold, rainy and snowy days. Ideally, under $200 but if you feel like splurging I suggest a pair for everyday use and another for special occasions.

When I came across this shirt by Kolor, I thought to myself 'Oh Please!'. First, the design is really nothing new or that creative. And then the price tag of close to $600!? What are the buttons made out of diamonds? See, this is what annoys me the most. Overpriced, uninspired fashion. Even if I had the money, I won't even consider buying this shirt. The fabric is obviously not even wrinkle-free!

Wallets are perhaps the most overlooked accessory by men. Thinking since they are always in their pockets, style is not an issue... a misconception. I don't know about you my dear readers, when I see a very well-dressed man, stylish from head-to-toe and then see him pull out a raggedy wallet is a bit disappointing. If you're gonna go for it do it right.
You don't have to have a Gucci or Dior, there is a plethora of stylish and hip wallets out there under $100. You can go wrong with a classic black leather wallet but it won't hurt to have a bold colored one. Opt for a wallet that has some texture to it. May it be in the leather it is made out of or the design itself. Guys, let us learn and emulate what women do with handbags. I personally have an everyday casual wallet and an another for special occasions.
