Designer Focus: Alejandro Ingelmo

Vanguard designs, chic and fierce are the words that come to mind when I hear Alejandro Ingelmo. Instantly I was a fan when I came across one of his fabulous shoes, 'Thriller 2' (shown below: $1059.00 Zappos). I also love the fact that Alejandro Ingelmo has both a men's and women's collection, equally edgy and fashion-forward.

Alejandro Ingelmo's was able to achieve a synergy of metallic colors and geometric shapes without looking tacky. A limited selection of small leather goods for men are now available and the much anticipated launch of his accessories collection for both men and women is in the works.

A finalist for this year's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, I think he will win! I'm sure we will be seeing Alejandro Ingelmo's footwear designs in the years to come.
