Crimes of Fashion: Alexander McQueen Shearling Jacket

I'm a a bit partial on this week's fashion criminal simply because I'm a big fan of this designer's body of work. Alexander McQueen has revolutionized fashion since his first collection and there are no signs of him slowing down or stopping anytime soon. This Mongolian shearling jacket has impeccable tailoring and the attention to detail of which McQueen is known for. I love McQueen's excessiveness and always pushing the envelope of fashion. But this jacket the push becomes a shove. I actually asked myself how many furless black lambs are running around the mountains of Mongolia. The shearling adds to much weight and bulk to the jacket taking away from the gorgeous red embroidery. And for $11,720.00!!! Imagine how many lambs you can buy with that money.
