I've been a big fan of alice+olivia for Payless since day one. Stacy Bendet's designs for Payless are chic and quite stylish. Her newest creations for Payless are hot! I particularly love her 'Madison' Biker Boot (shown above), it is edgy and modern.

Stacey Bendet never ceases to amaze me with her Alice + Olivia for Payless designs. Every season she comes out with chic, affordable and quality footwear. Alice + Olivia for Payless limited summer collection is filled with stylish and trendy shoes. My top picks from the collection are Beatrix, a deliciously sexy tri-color patent platform sandal and Jordana, fierce gladiator platform sandal. Aside from the fashionable styles, most of the shoes in the collection are priced under $40! That's the icing on the cake.

Traditionally worn by skydivers, jumpsuits are designed to insulate the body from the cold of high altitudes. The one-piece design also minimized the risk of getting in the way of handles and grips.It didn't take long for the easy-to-launder convenience of jumpsuits made it the garment-of-choice of many -- like firefighters, pilots, miners, race car drivers and other skilled craftsmen.

Jumpsuits have also inspired fashion designers dating back to the early '30's. Remember Rosie The Riveter? Of course modern times calls for modern designs. This summer, jumpsuits and rompers are quite the trend.

Ruffles are commonly used as trimmings on skirts and dresses. Bridal gowns and ball gowns come to mind when I hear ruffles. Honestly, I never favored ruffles. I didn't like the unnecessary volume they add on clothing. And when one of my friends told me earlier this year that Prada is coming out with ruffled shoes and handbags, I wasn't a bit excited.

All my presumptions of tacky, hideous shoes and handbags, I had to take back when I saw the chic, modern and innovative applications of ruffles. I was guilty of not giving ruffles the benefit of the doubt and underestimating a designer's capabilities. So, I stand corrected. Nowadays, I'm a ruffle lover! I particularly love apparel that has asymmetrical tier ruffle design.Thread Social has a collection of ruffle dresses that are so chic! The silhouette, feminine and sexy yet elegant.

The Sweater Dress has definitely evolved through the years. Traditionally, sweater dresses are made either with a mock or turtleneck, long or quarter length sleeve and in solid or some hideous print. Well, those sweater dresses are history.

Nowadays, you can find sweater dresses that gives the illusion you are wearing a two-piece skirt and top ensemble; embellished chic designs when paired with the right accessories you can wear to any fabulous event. You can even wear a sweater dress for work. And when an article of clothing can be worn virtually with any look and style, it's been through the wringer of updates and improvements.
