Moving onto the next trend this fall are booties. This fall an array of trendy and chic booties and that will fit oh so fabulously with any budget. Luxury designer footwear Christian Louboutin, Dior, Prada are there for the sky is the limit shopper. While booties by Jessica Simpson, Calvin Klein, and Vince Camuto are for the 'smart' shopper. When it comes to men's suiting, the only 'smart style' I can suggest is to invest some of your hard earned dollars in a reputable designer label. Of course, if you have a tailor that you consult and have your suit pieces made then you're all set.
Ready to wear blazers, jackets, tuxedos and pants are virtually available in every department stores out there. And at most the alterations will take at least 24 hours or some places offers same day service. This convenience which I'm sure have saved a few grooms due to last minute mishaps. Has a few drawbacks, from production issues to damages on the merchandise itself.
And for us gentlemen whom the luxury of having an 'atelier' at our disposal is not an option. The next best thing is ready to wear suits and separates from designers like Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, John Varvatos and Hugo Boss. Prices can range from the low hundreds to a thousand dollars just for a blazer or jacket. But expect great workmanship and longevity.

Most of you ladies probably bought that sexy but tasteful ( I hope) swimsuit for summer. And for those who are still shopping or haven't started yet, here are some 'Smart Styles' you can refer to.
- First, decide on the swimwear. One piece, bikini, tankini or a two piece suit. Pick the one you're comfortable wearing and compliments your body type.
- Next, style, color and functionality. There's a fine line between looking sexy and tacky or trampy. Avoid swimwear that make you look like your competing in a beauty pagaent. I.e. pleats, chiffon, and to much embellishments.
- If your planning on just lounging and bathing under the sun, get a suit that is meant for lounging. And same goes if your planning on getting in the water, pick a suit that looks great when wet and avoid swimwear that just have to much going on. If budget permits, buy both.
- Invest on a tunic or cover-up. An alternative for that beach towel. Trendy and less bulky to.
- Lastly, the most important element to feel and look fabulous in a swimsuit this summer is, You! Don't forget the sun block, shave or wax. Add some accessories a straw bag, hat, flip flops, etc. And have fun, work it!

White is always a color I love to wear. The clean and relaxed look gives you a boost of confidence as well. This season there are updates on classic white button-up shirts, shorts and pants. Dyes, embroideries and prints inspired by global, ethnic and florals mirror trends in the women's collection for spring.
I know that white easily gets dirty and that's an understandable concern. One great alternative this season is blue -- easy to wear and evokes a certain sense of calm in others.
