When I was in college back in the Philippines, ROTC was one of my course requirements and I hated it with a passion! I disliked it to much that I almost flunked. I'm a 'Make Peace not War' type of guy. But I respect an honor every men and women who put their lives on the line for our country. There's one thing I love about the military, their outfits! I meant uniforms. Anyhow, 'dress blues' ( proper term for military uniform ) that are worn by men and women fits just right, not to snug and not loose. I guess for a lack of a better word, 'respectable' fit.

I have to admit, Trench Coats were never a part of my wardrobe. They are bulky, to much going on and thought the style was a bit 'old' for me. But lately, I've been seeing  a few trench coats that have been updated well suited for today's trends and style. One update in particular that made me reconsider adding a trench coat in my closet is the shorter trench coats. It's amazing how something as simple like shortening the length of a trench coat can give it a modern and trendy look.

With that, I'm considering to own my first trench coat ever this fall. And so far, here are my options, they are way above my budget but I think I saved enough to splurge on one.

Men's cardigan has evolved beyond the preppy look to a more trendy and hip apparel. Some may think the cardigan being more for the 'older' gents when there are so many great updates done with it. Bold colors, patterns and cut.

Men's vest on the other hand are associated with valets, waitperson or cowboys. Vests are so versatile that you can change your look from casual to hip. Nowadays, you can find vests that can be worn everyday and not just under a blazer or jacket.
