Diesel is one of my favorite premium denim brands of all time. Not only they offer stylish and fashion forward clothing, it is top notch quality. I actually still have my very first pair of Diesel jeans which I bought 13 years ago. If only I can still fit in them... sigh. I know you're probably thinking that I should throw them or give them to Goodwill. I thought about it but I did spend a paycheck purchasing them. So, I guess they have a sentimental value.
Anyhow, Diesel is running an amazing promotion good through August 31st. Save up to 50% OFF Spring and Summer Collection. It gets better! You can save an additional 30% on ALL sale items by simply registering on their site. After that simply log in and the special discount code will be given to you. You can find fabulous deals not only on denim jeans but also on women's dresses, men's shirts, accessories and footwear. Happy Shopping!
Along with plaid and checked shirts, quilted vest are a must-have in every guys wardrobe this fall. You can dress them up or wear them as part of your everyday casual ensemble. I recommend vests that are not to puffy with hip, stylish designs.
So how much would you spend on one? Ideally, any quilted vest under $100 is great. But if you can invest on a $150-$200 that's great. Any garment that you spend on with that money should last you a couple of years. Granted you select a style that is classic and won't go out of style.

Wallets are perhaps the most overlooked accessory by men. Thinking since they are always in their pockets, style is not an issue... a misconception. I don't know about you my dear readers, when I see a very well-dressed man, stylish from head-to-toe and then see him pull out a raggedy wallet is a bit disappointing. If you're gonna go for it do it right.
You don't have to have a Gucci or Dior, there is a plethora of stylish and hip wallets out there under $100. You can go wrong with a classic black leather wallet but it won't hurt to have a bold colored one. Opt for a wallet that has some texture to it. May it be in the leather it is made out of or the design itself. Guys, let us learn and emulate what women do with handbags. I personally have an everyday casual wallet and an another for special occasions.

Along with hi-top sneakers, multicolor and bright colored sneakers are the trend for men this summer. When we went to see X-Men Origins: Wolverine a couple of nights ago, I noticed that most guys were wearing either black or white sneakers. Nothing wrong with that, it is quite boring though. I know I can't really blame men for being 'safe' on choosing to look like everybody else, but come on guys live a little. Better yet, live on the edge and add some color in your wardrobe. Express yourself through fashion.

I consider 2008, one of the best year for men's footwear. Styles and designs were made with the modern man in mind and what he would wear. I liked the fact that a variety of men's footwear styles earned 'must-have' recognitions throughout the year.
Metallic was not just for the ladies. Metallic sneakers were hot for fall. The renaissance of 80's fashion icon, 'hi-top' sneakers were the craze for summer. Prada's Men's Fall / Winter shoe collection made it clear that patent can also be a guy thing. And PUMA went retro-modern to commemorate it's 60th Birthday Celebration.
For guys that are still shopping or those whom like moi, haven't started looking for a coat for fall . Consider ourselves somewhat lucky because there are some pretty awesome deals on designer coats out there. And for the record, I have my reasons why I haven't bought one. It's not procrastination, it's the L.A. weather. Temperatures during the day still hit the high nighties and in the evening, the coldest night we had so far was in the mid to low fifties. I guess at this point , I feel there's no rush in having a brand-spanking new coat for fall. But with mother nature's unpredictability, it wouldn't hurt to have a coat handy. Here are a few deals on men's coat that I came across while shopping for one. Happy Shopping!

I have to admit, Trench Coats were never a part of my wardrobe. They are bulky, to much going on and thought the style was a bit 'old' for me. But lately, I've been seeing a few trench coats that have been updated well suited for today's trends and style. One update in particular that made me reconsider adding a trench coat in my closet is the shorter trench coats. It's amazing how something as simple like shortening the length of a trench coat can give it a modern and trendy look.
With that, I'm considering to own my first trench coat ever this fall. And so far, here are my options, they are way above my budget but I think I saved enough to splurge on one.
