For guys that are still shopping or those whom like moi, haven't started looking for a coat for fall . Consider ourselves somewhat lucky because there are some pretty awesome deals on designer coats out there. And for the record, I have my reasons why I haven't bought one. It's not procrastination, it's the L.A. weather. Temperatures during the day still hit the high nighties and in the evening, the coldest night we had so far was in the mid to low fifties.  I guess at this point , I feel there's no rush in having a brand-spanking new coat for fall. I have to admit, Trench Coats were never a part of my wardrobe. They are bulky, to much going on and thought the style was a bit 'old' for me. But lately, I've been seeing  a few trench coats that have been updated well suited for today's trends and style. One update in particular that made me reconsider adding a trench coat in my closet is the shorter trench coats. It's amazing how something as simple like shortening the length of a trench coat can give it a modern and trendy look.

With that, I'm considering to own my first trench coat ever this fall. And so far, here are my options, they are way above my budget but I think I saved enough to splurge on one.

I came across a great shopping site last night while I was window shopping. Ssence.com is a trendy and stylish site that carries designer brands like D&G, Juicy Couture, Alexander McQueen, Diesel and more. As always, I went to the sale section on the site and was surprised on the inventory and prices! Let's just say the 'window' in window shopping is no more when I saw shirts my favorite designer brands like Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior Home, Energie and more! One of my favorite brands in edgy and trendy wear is Diesel. Diesel has always been known for its street smart fashion designs, cool and collected, casual urban style, with canvas fabrics and denim blended successfully with superfluous zips, military style cuts and buttons makes Diesel look fresh and street worthy.

Men's sneakers has definitely evolved through the years, adapting to fashion trends and styles. Nowadays, you can wear a pair of stylish casual sneakers with a suit and tie. I have nothing against Nike or Reebok but I just don't like seeing a guy wearing basketball or gym shoes when he's not playing ball or in the gym. There are so many alternatives that are trendy, stylish and priced under $100! So, think about this advise guys. Here are my picks this week.

	When in doubt, go with a trusted name like Converse. This All Star canvas shoe is a classic comes in blue or grey and for $50.00, that's a steal! Dillard's

Summer is a season of casual fashion and style. And t-shirts are as as casual we can get. Graphic tees are perfect if you want to take your personal casual style to a more fashionable and trendy plateau. Some points to consider.  Avoid shirts that are vulgar or profane. If you support a cause that's fine, but know when to wear your propaganda. Easy on the brands and labels, a logo or a the designer's name / label is not bad. Don't be a walking billboard unless you're getting paid to advertise their name. Choose shirts that reflects and expresses your interests or personality. If you want to convey a message at least make it universal i.e. world peace, stop global warning, etc. Here are some 'smart style'  graphic tees I recommend.

As much as I love to wear cargo shorts this summer, I think I'll give them a break. A trendy and hip alternative are 3/4 length shorts. With cargos the designs and styles are limited and everybody will be wearing them. With the 3/4's, an arrray or styles, looks and fabrics you can chose from and not to casual as cargos. A friends of mine asked me what swimwear are trendy this summer. Men are lucky to have a few options and I told him that there's  not necessarily a 'trend' this summer, just make sure that the swimwear he choose compliments his body type and stay away from speedos!! Color and prints are crucial. Here are some suggestions for you guys out there. And don't forget flip flops!

For those daring guys, if your planning on wearing bikini cut swimwear pick dark colors or better yet try going for square cut trunks or shorts-like swimwear.
