I have to admit the only plaid clothing you can find in my closet are pajamas. Nothing against plaid, it's just not a preference of mine. The resemblance to table cloth or gift wrapping paper, the Brawny guy or perhaps being in Catholic school from preschool to college are few of the reasons why plaid is M.I.A. in my closet. Being an equal opportunity fashionista, I'm open to trying on plaid apparel.
And since plaid apparel is a key trend for men this fall, I'm sure there will be no table cloth inspired shirts or jackets out there. I found a few plaid tops and a pair of really trendy trousers by Cheap Monday. My favorite so far and possibly buying (budget permitting) is a wool plaid blazer by Dolce & Gabbana.

Style advice: Try something new and go beyond the usual plaid shirts. Experiment and try on something different like plaid pants. Feeling daring? How about a plaid kilt! Have Fun.
Sneakers are becoming more than the summer footwear of choice for men. Athletic shoe manufacturers like Puma and Reebok now offer fashion-forward designs and trendy styles. Top designer brands Dolce & Gabanna, Christian Dior and Gucci expanded and developed their sneaker designs in response to the increasing preference and popularity of sneakers amongst their male clientele.
This fall, metallic sneakers are the hot! Expect to see a lot of guys sporting edgy and stylish pairs in the gym, at parties and specially in the clubs. But a word of caution for the guys, don't wear them everyday or every time you're out dancing with your posse. I say this because, you'll definitely get noticed and complimented wearing your new Gucci Metallic Gold sneaker, but don't expect the same response on the third consecutive Saturday night you've worn them. Try on different style pairings and looks that coordinates well with metallic sneakers. And you don't have to wear sneakers that are solid metallic. Sneakers with metallic details would work as well.

By now, all of you should know that I love Dolce & Gabbana. I love them so much that I decided to splurge a little this week! Thank you Mr. Mastercard, I just pre ordered this nylon jacket and should get it just in time for fall and winter. And to my surprise, I didn't get any feeling of buyer's remorse after my purchase. That only means one thing, I really love what I bought. I recommend this trendy and edgy jacket to you guys out there. This jacket should last you a few cold seasons and can easily transition from a casual look to a business casual look. Want to upgrade? There's a leather jacket similar to this, and it's hot!
