After testing 20 women's fragrance, 9 fragrances stood out and made the list of my top picks for fall. I had some criteria that put all the fragrances to the test luxurious, wearable, sensual, feminine and opulent. If I have to pick my faves, they are Marc Jacobs 'Lola', Michael Kors 'Very Hollywood' and D&G 'L Imperatrice', all three tickled my olfactory nerve and just can't stop smelling them. I have to commend Jessica Simpson's 'Fancy Love', it scored very well beating out some luxury designer fragrances. As always, whatever season it is, wear lighter scents during the day and bolder at night.

Marc Jacobs 'Lola' 3.4 oz $85.00, Narciso Rodriguez 'For Her' 3.3 oz $110.00, Jessica Simpson 'Fancy Love' 3.4 oz $59.00, D&G 'La Roue De La Fortune' 3.3 oz $65.00

Cover-ups are a summer necessity for every woman who owns a swimsuit. For one, cover-ups are more fashionable than wrapping a towel around you. Cover-ups functions as instant looks as well. Great transition pieces from the beach to an early evening luau or a seaside soiree. A few points to consider when shopping for a cover up:
- Mix it up. Try not to match your cover-up with your swimsuit. Pattern or print suit, opt for plain, solid cover-up and vice-versa. By doing so, your look becomes visually pleasing. Not to busy and not to blah.
- Flattering. Don't take cover-ups literally. Choose one that accentuates your body. Look for a sexy yet chic silhouette. Avoid mumus!
- Priced just right. If it is priced over $200.00, that's a bit to much. Try to stay under a $100.00. Juicy Couture offers fabulous cover-ups under $100.00 But if you have the budget for a designer cover-up, there are Marc by Marc Jacobs pieces that are priced under $200.00!
- Comfort. Look for lightweight fabrics that breath.
- Style. Wear one that makes you feel and look good. Because at the end of the day that is what counts!

This past weekend, temperatures rose well about the nineties and its only spring. The hot weather got a couple of my girlfriends thinking about summer and asked me if I can go swimwear shopping with them. We hit Nordstrom and found such an extensive selection that we didn't shop anywhere else.I told them tankini is the way to go. They are versatile. You can easily wear tankini tops with denim jeans or shorts. And they are not to revealing.
Traditionally worn by skydivers, jumpsuits are designed to insulate the body from the cold of high altitudes. The one-piece design also minimized the risk of getting in the way of handles and grips. It didn't take long for the easy-to-launder convenience of jumpsuits made it the garment-of-choice of many -- like firefighters, pilots, miners, race car drivers and other skilled craftsmen.
Jumpsuits have also inspired fashion designers dating back to the early '30's. Remember Rosie The Riveter? Of course modern times calls for modern designs. This summer, jumpsuits and rompers are quite the trend.

Worn by eskimos, explorers, whalers and arctic natives, the parka has become a trend on its own. Traditionally made out of deer or caribou hides, seal skin with the hood lined with fox, coyote or even one with polar bear fur. Though the traditional parka still widely use by it's originators, the advancement in technology has able as to wear a parka guilt-free by using synthetic fur and waterproof materials like nylon and polyester.
The style and design of this arctic wear evolved as well. From having the option of a ankle length or thigh length to fashion forward, edgy styles. Parkas have graced the pages of every men's fashion magazine and made appearances on men's fall/winter collections by fashion's top designers.
Parkas are a great alternative to puffer coats and trench coats for winter. They are not to casual yet not formal. You can easily wear them with denim or pants, for night or day. If shopping for one, just make sure the parka you're looking at is cruelty-free against animals. No creature has to die for us to look fashionable. Enjoy your day!
