The first time I discovered Julia Cocco' was when I came across her 'cupcake' watches and added her designs on my 'smart style' list. Creating mostly accessories, Julia launched an apparel line with 50's inspired silhouettes, clean and modern lines. I say its, 'Retro Chic'.

Her handbags are edgy and fashion forward which I adore. In my opinion, her handbags poses a challenge to luxury brands like Fendi and Louis Vuitton. How so? You can look at her designs and clearly see or even feel her 'soul' through each piece, the best way to describe them I guess is organic. And another admirable quality is using eco-friendly materials. It does feel better when you're looking fabulous for two, yourself and mother nature.

This season, watches are in my trends list. But we all know that are so many to choose from. My 'Smart Style' watch of choice didn't take long to decide. I had in mind a checklist on what I was looking for. Chic, Trendy and Priced Right. And that choice is the 'Cup Cake' timepieces from designer Julia Cocco'. The name and the designs are fun and whimsical and for $165.00 that's not bad at all. I just ordered the white watch and can't wait to get it.
