80's Fashion Renaissance: Members Only Jackets

The 80's was decade of fashion and style excess. A time when shoulder-padded tops, Neon colors, parachute pants and acid-washed denim could be worn all at the same time and considered trendy and hip. Speaking of those 80's trends made me gag a little. It was also this time that Members Only jackets became every guy's Saturday night disco must-have, must-wear outerwear of choice. I have to confess, I did own a black Members Only jacket, but I was young then -- my mom was my stylist and I did look cool wearing it.

Through the years, Members Only outerwear lived on in vintage and resale shops or on the backs of hardcore 80's fanatics. Like a Hollywood celebrity making a comeback, Members Only outerwear has been cut, redesigned and undergone a total overhaul to answer to the fashion and trends of today. And let me tell you what -- Members Only outerwear is back, alright. Chic, sexy and ready for it's close-up!
