This week's splurge is not quite your everyday sandal. To some, perhaps. Anyhow, I love the modern design and bright colors. This sandal is from Versace's Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. This uber stylish sandal reminds me of Miami and I so wish it's 70° outside not a bone chilling 8°! I've said it time and time again, it hurts to be beautiful, that is exactly what this sandal would do to your ankle if you trip and fall with it's towering 6 inch heel.

I have to say, I am loving Versace's S/S 2011 Footwear Collection. The play on colors, shapes, cut-outs and designs are fresh and innovative.

With temperatures nearing 100 degrees everyday, some of us wouldn't mind if fall comes next week. One thing is certain though, when the mercury starts dropping fashion becomes 'hauter'. A staple for fall, boots are hotter than ever this fall (no pun intended).

Just take a look at this Versace Patent and Suede Boots. I love the modern and very chic design. The wooden heel gives the boot a Yin and Yang feel. And the touch of red detail on the sole is subtle but speaks volumes. These boots can be paired with endless looks for fall. Not a bad investment if you ask me.

This Versace shopper suits the name 'Scream' perfectly. It screams style, modern, chic and expensive! The fusion of the bold colors, floral pattern leather, ruched sides and braided leather handles is just divine. And I love the metal conical studs tracing the curve of the handbag. Looking at these dresses, Versace doesn't come to mind because of the subtlety of design. I miss Gianni Versace a lot! I say that not to dismiss Donatella's efforts and contribution in continuing her brother's legacy. She is doing a fabulous job. I love the sexy, elegant and very feminine silohuette of these dresses. Specially the Shell Print Sheath Dress, if you look closely on the strategically placed cuts and sewn to have the entire print on the dress is genius! These dresses are from Versace Pre-Fall 2009 Collection but are perfectly chic and well-suited to any summer soiree!

There's nothing like a white Christmas but I know some people who prefer to celebrate the holidays in the tropics. Like the Caribbean or Bali. Nothing wrong about that. As long as you enjoy and celebrate the holidays with people dear to your heart.
