TDM Design's 'Bambi' Scarves were my 'Smart EcoStyle' pick last week. As we all know, TDM Designs offers eco-chic scarves. All handmade in Nepal from natural, sustainable eco-friendly materials by poverty-stricken women. Income generated in the production of TDM Design scarves, gives opportunities to women and their children to gain education and provide the necessities of everyday living.

As a gesture of appreciation for the support of The Smart Stylist and it's readers, TDM Design is having a 'design your own scarf' contest! The winning design will be specially handwoven in Nepal as per the designer's specifications. Once completed, not only the winner gets a one-of-kind Nepali by TDM Design scarf, the designer will be featured right here on TheSmartStylist.com.

Whether your a skilled pro or driven by your passion for fashion, I encourage everyone to enter this contest. Best of luck to all who enters the contest.

Rules and Terms of the Contest:

Designs need to be submitted by December 10, 2009.
All designs must be original ideas. Please include the source of inspiration. (movie, place, own imagination, etc).
We encourage you to submit designs in color. Color must be specified on the designs. Please refer to our color chart http://www.tdmdesigninc.com/pages/color-chart.
There is no restriction to how many entries a submitter may submit.
Any submitted design becomes the property of TDM Design Inc.
Designs are to be emailed to contest@tdmdesigninc.com or mailed to NEPALI by TDM Design, 12311 Stoney Creek Road, Potomac, MD 20854. Acceptable formats are jpg, bmp, psd or pdf.
Designs need to include: fiber content (cashmere, silk chiffon, bamboo, cashmere/silk blend, cashmere/bamboo blend), scarf size (length, width), design details(dyeing design, print design, fabrication design, weave, etc.).
By submitting a design, entrant agrees to all of the contest rules.
NEPALI by TDM Design reserves the right to make minor revisions to the scarf design.
NEPALI by TDM Design reserves the right to reject any submission.
Must be 18 years or older. Entrants under the age of 18 can submit a design with a parent or legal guardian's consent to enter the contest in behalf of a minor.
Submitters name and email address must be marked clearly on the design or in the email submitted.
