With Mother's Day only a few days away, here are some gift ideas that I'm sure the mom will love. While working on this gift list, I'm glad to know that there are quite a bit of fabulous gifts under $100 out there. But as we all know, as cliche it may sound, that is still the thought that counts when giving a gift to someone as special as mom.

I'm sure you can relate when I say, the beauty tools in the cosmetic aisle can be confusing. With all the selection, which product will give you the best bang for your buck. Sure, you can buy the $5 tweezers but you'll find yourself looking for another one in a matter of days!

For Holiday 2011, Barneys New York partnered with none other than Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga and created Gaga's Holiday Workshop. It's a wonderland filled with limited edition jewelry, apparel, accessories, candy and toys for everyone... not just for 'little monsters'.

When I first heard about this collaboration, I was expecting the usual things you expect when a celebrity partners with a department store. Which is basically items with their name and picture that's it. But Gaga's Workshop is more than just the branding. There's a lot of creativity and imagination poured into this project. And by the looks of the pieces, I'm sure Lady Gaga herself contributed equally as well.

Barneys is donating 25% of all items sold from Gaga's Workshop to Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Foundation'. A nonprofit foundation focusing on youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development and will utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change. The foundation will work with a number of partners, including the John D.&Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the California Endowment and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.

The last but certainly not the least of The Smart Stylist's Top 10 Holiday Gifts Under $100 this year is perhaps the easiest to compile. Basically, these gift ideas are what I wouldn't mind getting for Christmas. Practical yet stylish and functional. Any of the gifts will be enjoyed, since they have a luxe appeal without the luxe price. And it's not to late to purchase any of these gifts. Thanksgiving done... Christmas next. I'm sure most of you are still shopping for your holiday gift list. This year, I decided to create a gift guide for kids. For a couple of reasons: as requested by some mom bloggers and secondly, my sister had her second baby daughter just this past spring inspired me to shop and get into kid's fashion. While doing my shopping, I found out that kids fashion is by no means cheaper. With a little bit of resourcefulness and patience you can find great gifts.
