By now, all of you should know that I love Dolce & Gabbana. I love them so much that I decided to splurge a little this week! Thank you Mr. Mastercard, I just pre ordered this nylon jacket and should get it just in time for fall and winter. And to my surprise, I didn't get any feeling of buyer's remorse after my purchase. That only means one thing, I really love what I bought. I recommend this trendy and edgy jacket to you guys out there. This jacket should last you a few cold seasons and can easily transition from a casual look to a business casual look. Want to upgrade? There's a leather jacket similar to this, and it's hot! Priced at $2,895.00! So, if you have a few thousands of benjamins at your disposal go for it.

Being a 'smart stylist' involves resourcefulness, creativity and a sense of imagination and adventure. When I'm shopping fabulous sales this summer I usually shop for items that I can easily wear for fall. And the looks you can come up with just by simply adding pieces to compliment your summer fashions that are appropriate for fall.

Around this time last year I was not liking most of Marc Jacobs' shoes, apparel and accessories. And it was no surprise that a couple of his shoes ended up on my worst shoe trends of 2007. As the saying goes, 'To err is human, to forgive is divine' Marc Jacobs has certainly done his penance by creating designs what I came to love from him.
MARC by Marc Jacobs ready to wear for women is fun, young and edgy. My personal favorites and must haves from his fall collection are dresses and skirts. Houndstooth and plaid patterns in tweeds and silks with pink, blue and grey colors are simply adorable and glam!

John Galliano called it 'fresh couture -- refreshed and refined'. I have to disagree, Dior Fall '08 Couture Collection is fresh couture -- glamourous perfection. The collection speaks beyond the realms of fashion that can be appreciated by anyone. Fifties inspired designs paraded the runway done in decadent see through gowns, tulle dresses, hourglass silhouettes, flawless hair and make up and fabulous shoes. Christian Dior delivered a collection above and beyond my expectations. Usually, I expect extravagant fantasy collections that are more for show than wearability but Dior just showed me what Haute Couture is and how it should be. Photo credits: Style.com
Versace handbags are a must have this fall. The modern look and sleek design in rich deep purple and black patent leather accented with the Medusa head medallion are simply desirable. This clutch has luxury written all over it. The versatility of this clutch is also what I love about also, whether you're out in a club with your BFF or a black and tie event this clutch will compliment your outfit perfectly.

I was so intrigued and fascinated by Madonna's infamous cone bra (which she wore during her Blonde Ambition Tour) that I wanted to see more from whomever had designed this now-iconic brazier. Come to find out it was created by a french designer named Jean Paul Gaultier. I've been a fan ever since.
Jean Paul Gaultier Couture Fall 2008 is simply spectacular. Brightly colored gowns, lace, and fur with interesting shapes and patterns which reminded me of the movie, The Fifth Element for which Gaultier was the costume designer. And despite the runway review by Style.com, which called the collection 'recycled' and said "It was a pity he worked so hard to cover them up," I still absolutely love this collection.

My preference on leather shoes has always been matted finish. I stay from shiny or glossy finish maybe it reminded me of a time in my life, ROTC! I thought of every possible reason to excuse myself from the torturous college prerequisite. It wasn't fabulous at all. But I heard that ROTC is no longer administered back in the Philippines. Lucky!
And when I saw Prada Men's Fall/Winter 2008 Collection, I just had the urge to splurge and should be expecting a pair of Prada Patent Leather Boots from Raffaelo Network in a few days! Felt a little bit of buyer's remorse. But it's just natural to feel that way even though you really wanted what you bought. So, guys if you're in the splurging mood, don't fight the urge. Just do it!

Of all the pre-fall shoe collections I have seen so far, Sergio Rossi is on my list of top must have shoes for fall. The collection is sexy and modern adorned with statement-making details like exposed gold zippers on a platform, leather cuff with oversized buckle and cut outs on pumps. Bright and bold patent leather shoes colors of red, cobalt blue and bougainvillea are really stunning.
Sergio Rossi footwear are considered a luxury designer label, so expect luxury pricing collection. When I reviewed the collection, prices ranges from $425.00 to $1,195.00! And if you are planning on doing some power shopping this week splurge on Sergio Rossi shoes!

I love Vivienne Westwood, her creativity is profound and one of fashion's most important and influential person. Her designs are coveted by celebrities and fashion lovers worldwide.
Recently, one of her creations graced the big screen in the most anticipated movie of the year, 'Sex and the City'. In the movie, Carrie Bradshaw played by the fabulous Sarah Jessica Parker, received a personal gift from Viviene Wetwood. A wedding gown that was stunning!
For Vivienne Westwood Fall 2008, I can say I'm neutral. I have so much respect for as a designer but conflicted on the pieces that came down the runway. Being a fashion lover I am still amazed and mesmerized with the collection but to someone else they might say the pieces are ugly and even make fun about it.
