Matthew Williamson's elements were front and center in his Resort 2010 Collection. Bold prints, bright colors, fascinating beading and sleek, sexy silhouettes. Accessories are focal pieces in the collection as well. Handbags, studded belts and one distinctive pair of pumps that looked like a cross between cowboy boots and cut-out pumps are up to par with the chic dresses and high-waist parachute pants. Williamson's evening wear pieces were impeccable! Embellished with intricate beadwork.

Aside from the chic, fun and youthful designs, I have to give it to Stella McCartney as one of the best in presentation and most innovative show of Resort 2010 Collections. I love that shoes were used to anchor the balloons, a fabulous way to showcase the footwear line. The blow-up dinosaur was a cute touch.

The collection is concise and universal. Lace is making an encore in a few collections. Phillip Lim's has very chic lace dresses in his collection. The belted lace jumpsuit is my fave from Stella McCartney's ensemble. Stripe and geometric shapes are key patterns in the collection. And the obi belt made an appearance on a few dresses and coats.

After viewing the latest Women's Resort 2010 Collections, Prada is by far one of my favorites. I'm not a big fan of bows, but Miuccia made me rethink my non-preference. Colorblocked button-up shirts, skirts, scarf bikini briefs with ties on the hips and shoes are key items in the collection. The modern and minimalist designs reminded me of Prada's signature look. The color palette is fun and well-thought of. Bravo Prada!
