Smart Trends for Fall: Victorian Inspired Shoes

| | Comments (0)
It's no surprise that boots are the footwear of choice for fall and winter season. Ankle boots, booties, knee high boots, heeled boots and whatever style boots under the sun, they are here until spring. But that doesn't necessarily mean that all will be chic and trendy for the season.

My personal choice of boot style that I think are appropriate and fabulously fit with the trends for fall are victorian inspired boots. They have a regal and finished look. One detail that I adore are the buttons which traditionally done in brass. I prefer this style over boots with fringe. Not really a fan of Pocahontas inspired footwear. And since the word 'Victorian' is associated to traditional, old world or matronly it's perhaps why some women tend to shy away from them. Footwear designers have made updates adapting to the evolving world of fashion. Nowadays, you can find victorian style boots in any shape, material and color that would fit any look.
